When I'm down (when I'm down)
When my heart (when my heart)
Is filled with fear and doubt (fear and doubt)

Chorus 2:
When I lift up my head and he lifts up my heart
And my troubles just all roll away
Roll away (roll away)
Stone's been rolled away (roll away, Lord)
Roll away (roll away)
Stone's been rolled away (roll away, Lord)
When I lift up my head and he lifts up my heart
And my troubles just all roll away

Well I can't sit aside with my head to the ground
All through my vision and way, way down
Well I've found the secret when I have to pray

Repeat Chorus 2

Roll away
Roll away

Go Tell It

Words and music: Keith Lancaster (1978)

Lyrics:

Oh won't you go-go-go-go tell it
Tell it to all nations (tell it to all nations)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go tell it
Tell the whole creation (tell the whole creation)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go tell it
If you don't they'll have no hope (go you know)
Jesus told you to teach the word

Oh won't you go-go-go-go preach it
Preach it to the people (preach in to the people)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go preach it
Preach about the good news (preach about the good news)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go preach it
If you don't they'll have no hope (go you know)
Jesus told you to preach the word

Go and tell it (go and tell it), go and preach it, go and teach

Oh won't you go-go-go-go sing it
Sing about the Savior (sing about the savior)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go sing it
Sanctified forever (sanctified forever)
Oh won't you go-go-go-go sing it
If you don't they'll have no hope (go you know)
Jesus told you to teach the word

Go and tell it (go and tell it), go and preach it, go and teach the Word

Scriptural Reference:

"Tell this to the nations, proclaim it to Jerusalem: `A besieging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry against the cities of Judah.'"  Jeremiah 4:16

Plenty of Time

Words and music: McLean

Lyrics:

I got up one Sunday morning
Went to church at ten
I listened to the words I'd heard time and time again
The preacher spoke of sinful eyes
It seemed he spoke of mine
But I was young
I had plenty of time

Chorus:
Plenty of time to decide where I'm bound
To eternal darkness or to a heavenly crown
I'm just a young man
Not yet in my prime
So I'll just wait
I've got plenty of time

Bridge:
You know as I was traveling down life's highway
Living just the way I wanted to live
I was out to beat the other guy
And to try to get whatever life could give
Now I know that making money, that wasn't a sin
And having fun, that wasn't a crime
I thought I'd wait
I had plenty of time

Repeat Chorus

Before I knew what had happened, life seemed to have passed away
And millions stood before God's throne for it was Judgment Day
Now eternal darkness blackens and the name he calls is mine
But I had thought that I had plenty of time

Eternity waits
I've got plenty of time to think of all the days Christ could have been in mine
My chance is over
Life's days are left behind
And here am I, I've got plenty of time
Now I've got nothing, but plenty of time

Scriptural Reference:

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."  Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32

Thank You Lord

Words and music: Keith Lancaster (1978)

Lyrics:

Well, you know where I would be without Jesus?
I'd be without a home on high
I'd be apart from the joy that he constantly gives
I'd be apart from hope when I die
But I know the day that I made Him mater
I gave Him the complete control
Now I'll never be far away from His side
He cares for me and lives in my soul

Chorus:
And I wanna thank you (thank you, Lord)
Thank you, Lord (thank you, Lord)
Well, I wanna thank you (thank you, Lord)
Thank you, Lord (thank you, Lord)
'Cause I've been so happy (I'm so happy)
Such a ? (such a ?)
Won't you be side me (stay beside me)
All the time (all the time)

Well when I obeyed He came to my rescue
He saved me from this life of sin
He saved me from the path and the pain of this world
And I can have a new life to begin
Well for all the things I am thankful
A blessing I cannot repay
The Holy Son Jesus Christ affords
His presence with me everyday

Repeat Chorus

Well I know that he loves me and he'll always be true
So from now to forever, tell you what I'm always gonna do

Repeat Chorus

Thank you, Lord!

Scriptural Reference:

"'This is what the Lord says: 'You say about this place, 'It is a desolate waste, without men or animals.' Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither men nor animals, there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord , saying, 'Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.'  For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,' says the Lord."  Jeremiah 33:10-11

Lyrics:

Hey, Lord
Don't you know that my

Chorus:
Jesus gave me water
You know Jesus gave me water
Oh Jesus gave me water
And it was not from the well

Well there was a woman from Samaria
She came to the well to get some water
It was there she met a stranger
And he did her story tell
Well Jesus gave her a pitcher
And I reckon she was made richer
From the water that he gave her
And it was not from the well

Repeat Chorus

Well a-that woman left for shouting
And there was no room for doubting
That she had met a Savior
I'm gonna let his praises swell
Every time she stood to doubt him
She's stop and think about him
The man that gave her that living water
And it was not from the well

Oh, Jesus gave me water
Jesus gave me water
Oh Jesus he gave me water
I'm gonna let His praises swell
Jesus gave that woman water
He gave her that living lasting water
Oh, and it was not from the well
(Repeat)

Scriptural Reference:

"Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.  Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."  John 4:13-14

Born Again

Words and music: Keith Lancaster © 1995 Anthony K. Music (ASCAP)

Lyrics:

I have been to the river
All my sins were washed away
I was born into the family
Of my Savior today

I am changed, I am contented
'Cause for once, my life is real
There's no other substitution
For the way that I, I feel

Chorus
I've been born again (I've been born again)
I've been born again
I gave my soul and He took control
My wounded life to mend

I'll not worry 'bout tomorrow
Or be troubled 'bout the past
There's no pain, and no more sorrow
For this joy of mine will last

Spoken vocal:
I've been so many places, and I've been so lost.  But Lord, I believe with all my heart that there's never been a time that you haven't been watching over me.  If I could say one thing, I just wanna say thank you for always giving me another chance.  And I am born again.

Repeat Chorus

Repeat Verse 1

Scriptural Reference:

"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.  For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."  1 Peter 1:22-23

Where the redeemed (ever stand) of God shall stand

Ready to live (I'll be glad) in Glory Land

Praise the Lord, I'll have a new life

What a hallelujah morning when the
last trump of God shall sound

I'll have a new body
Praise the Lord, I'll have a new life

He Will Lead His Children Home

Words and music: Christian © 1949,1977 Stamps-Baxter Music
This song also appeared on We've Got to Sing by The Vocal Union

Lyrics:

We read and heard a story from the Blessed Old Book
How the walls of Jericho the people marched around
And when that trumpet sounded, how the mighty walls shook
Walls around the city came a-tumblin down

Chorus:

The Lord delivered Daniel from the hungry lions' den
He rolled the waters back before old Moses and his men
He led the people out of Egypt's bondage and it's sin
The Lord, He calmed the ocean and the mighty winds that blew
He saved the Hebrew children from the fiery furnace, too
He rose up from the grave just like the prophets said He'd do
Never will forsake us, matter not what may come
Safely He will lead His faithful children on home

The Lord said, "Brother Jonah, go to Ninevah land"
But he disobeyed the Lord by hidin' away
Then Jonah got converted to obey the command
From the whale the Lord delivered him on that day

Repeat Chorus

The Lord has raised the dead and caused the blind men to see
He cleansed the lepers spots and turned the water to wine
The Lord's the same today and now forever will be
There's no other power like the Savior Divine

Repeat Chorus

Scriptural Reference:

"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left."  Exodus 14:21-22
"He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions."  Daniel 6:27

Not My Will But Thine

Words and music: Keith Lancaster © 1978 Anthony K. Music (ASCAP)
This song also appeared on Heaven Will Be My Home by Keith Lancaster, Set Me Free by Acappella and The Collection by Acappella.
Producer's Note Excerpt from The Collection:  "I wrote this song over 20 years ago.  In borrowing from a choral, spiritual style, I tried to create the scene at the cross; the defining moment in history.  God became something he was not (sin), so we could become something we are not (righteous)."

Lyrics:

Jesus prayed in the garden and poured out His heart for me
There has been no love shown my mortal as in dark Gethsemane
He could have chosen not to suffer treatment of the cruelest kind
But the lips of my pure savior uttered not my will but thine

Let me tell you what He went through
You know He really didn't have to
He could have easily just walked away
Then He said "not my will but thine"

Well they took them and they beat Him and they mocked Him and teased Him
The people kept a cryin "We gotta crucify Him"
"Crucify Him! Crucify Him!"
Yet He said "not my will but thine"

Well they hung Him there in anger searchin' for some relief
They nailed Him there in public right between the two thiefs
He tasted human torture of the cruelest kind
But yet He said "not my will but thine"

Some were laughin', some were cryin' some were happy at His dyin'
I don't see, I can't see how could this ever be?
Poor Jesus as He hung on the tree He said
"Not my will but thine"

Not my will but thine

Scriptural Reference:

"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.  Yet not as I will, but as you will."  Matthew 26:39

Who Will Save You Then

Words and music: Keith Lancaster (1978)

Lyrics:

Chorus:
Who is gonna save you then?
Cleanse and pass you out of your sin?
What is gonna happen when this life ends
Who is gonna save you then?

O wretched man, get a hold of yourself
Where comes your time and your life and health?
Thinkin' you can make it with your money and wealth
Where would you be without Him?

Repeat Chorus

O wretched man, get some sense in your head
How can money help you when you're lyin' there dead?
Accept the one who loves you and died on the cross
Don't live a day without Him

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
I used to be just like you
With nobody but myself to blame
But then I gave my life to Jesus and I'll never, ever be the same
Why don't you now confess him?
Repenting your wrong, bringing the Lord in your life
And be baptized 'cause that's the way to get rid of your sins

O wretched man, get all out of that rest
Or sin in the end, it will take your place
What about the day when you see His face?
What would you do without Him?

Repeat Chorus

Who is gonna save you then?
Cleanse and pass you out of your sin?
What is gonna happen when this life ends
Who is gonna save you
Who is gonna save you
Who is gonna save you then?

Scriptural Reference:

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners–of whom I am the worst."  1 Timothy 1:15

By the Rivers of Babylon

Words and music: Dowe and McNaughton

Lyrics:

Where he sat down
And there he wept
When he remembered Zion

For the wicked carried us away
Captivity required from us a song
How can we think of a song in a strange land?

So let the words of our mouths
And the meditation of our hearts
Be acceptable to the almighty God

Scriptural Reference:

"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord , my Rock and my Redeemer."  Psalm 19:14

This song also appeared on New Life Presents: Acapella by New Life (TN), Songs We Like to Sing by The Sounds of Glory, Conquerors by Acappella, Gold by Acappella, and Hear It In Our Voice: Volume II by The Acappella Company.

Lyrics:

There's a light that's from the window and it shines down on the street
There's some guys standing on the corner making that good old harmony
And now there's a light that's from the window and it's sent to the street corner symphony
Let 'em sing let 'em shout cause they're singing that good old harmony

Chorus:
Singing it soul to soul, Brother to brother
A cappella--Well it sounds good to me
Singing it soul to soul, Brother to brother
A cappella--Well it sounds good to me

And now I turn out the light say goodnight to another day
I'm gonna rest my weary head in my long awaited bed
I'm gonna get on my knees and pray, ask the Lord to give me just one more day
Oh Lord, hear my plea--This music just sounds so good to me

Repeat Chorus

You know we're singing for the Lord and now we're feeling mighty good
Makin music with our voices like we know all Christians should
We don't need any type of organs or an instrument to use
Oh it sounds good to me and I'm hoping it sounds good to you

Repeat Chorus

Listen!
Ba ba, ba ba ba ba (etc.)
