young people who lost their lives in tragic automobile accidents.
These families, seeking strength from the Lord, and viewing their losses
through the eyes of faith, have been an inspiration to all who know
them."

cast my every care upon the Lord No matter what obsession Pain or

Chorus: I'm standing on the solid rock of ages (standing on the
rock, on the rock of ages) Safe from all the storm that rages (safe
from every storm, all the storm that rages) Rich but not from
Satan's wages (rich in love, I'm rich, not from Satan's wages) I'm
standing on the solid rock
Now I'm pressing onward Each step leads me homeward I'm trusting
in my Savior day by day And close is our relation Firm is its
foundation So on this solid rock I'll stay

I don't know why Jesus loved me I don't know why He cared I don't
know why He sacrificed His life Oh, but I'm glad, so glad He
did
Where would I be if Jesus didn't love me? Where would I be if
Jesus didn't care? Where would I be if He hadn't sacrificed His
life Oh, but I'm glad, so glad He did
I don't know why Jesus loved me (Oh I don't know why) I don't know
why He cared (Oh I don't know why) I don't know why He sacrificed His
life Oh, but I'm glad (so glad), so glad He did Oh, but I'm
glad (so glad), so glad He did
Scriptural Reference:
"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love,
so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order
that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3in whom are
hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians
2:2-3
People in darkness have seen a great light (lift up your
hands) Behold the Savior's glourious might (rise out from the
dead) We are more than conquerors, a chosen people, His to
command Clothed in righteousnes, cleansed from sin by His wondrous
hand
Chorus 1: Life up your voice and sing, to Jesus Christ your
King Let the earth and sky show forth His praise Who sets the
captives free, who knows your soul's deep need Sing to Him, He is the
Lord
People in cages of sorrow and pain (He can set free) This peace He
offers who can explain (His gift to me) My yoke is easy, my burden
light, come and find rest (come and find rest) Let no heart be
troubled, fear no evil, seek Jesus instead
Chorus 2: Give Him your cloudy day, He'll take your blues
away Don't you carry that weight anymore No greater joy can be, but
Jesus sets you free Come to Him, He is the Lord
Though we grow weary (He will renew) You can mount up with wings as
an eagle Nest near His altar (shelter from storm) Oh my strength, my
God, my King

Words and Music to "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus": Helen H. Lemmel
(1922) Lead:
Lyrics:
Lord you are more precious that silver Lord you are more costly than
gold Lord you are beautiful than diamonds And nothing I desire
compares with you
Lord I want to love you more Than I ever have before You're so
easy to adore Lord I want to love you more
Oh Lord, you're beautiful Your face is all I seek And when your
eyes are on this child Your grace abounds to me
So turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face And
the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory
and grace
His word shall fail you, He promised Believe Him and all will be
well Then go to a world that is dying His perfect salvation to
tell
Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face And the
things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and
grace
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His
glory and grace
Scriptural Reference:
"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." 1
Chronicles 16:11 and Psalm 105:4 "The law from your mouth is more
precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold." Psalm
119:72 "In that day men will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to
the Holy One of Israel." Isaiah 17:7 "Let us fix our eyes on
Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before
him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand
of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2
There are things as we travel this earth shifting sands That
transcend all the reason of man But the things that matter the most in
this world They can never be held in our hand
Chorus: I believe in a hill called Mt. Calvary I'll believe
whatever the cost And when time has surrendered and earth is no
more I'll still cling to that old rugged cross
I believe that the Christ who was slain on the cross Has the power
to change lives today For He changed me completely, a new life is
mine That is why by the cross I will stay
Repeat Chorus
I believe that this life with its great mysteries Surely someday
will come to an end But faith will conquer the darkness and
death And will lead me at last to my friend
Repeat Chorus (x2)
And when time has surrendered and earth is no more I'll still cling
to that old rugged cross
Scriptural Reference:
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent
me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from
death to life." John 5:24
"On June 25, 1999, The Sounds of Glory were scheduled to spend the
night in Minden, Louisiana at the home of Charles White. We received
a call just as we were leaving Madisonville that Charles, the 28 year old
son of James and Diane White, and older brother of Britton White, died in
an auto accident that morning. While we had great plans for a fun
evening the 25th, we were totally unaware of what was about to
happen. Lanier wrote the song 'I Have Other Plans For You' early the
next morning... and it is our prayer that Charles' untimely death will
help us all to remember that we must always say, 'If the Lord
Wills'"
Lyrics:
With all our good intentions we make plans for everyday We forget
about our Savior in the garden as He prayed "Take this cup of suffering
from me, but it's your will I must do" And His Father answered softly,
"I have other plans for you"
Chorus: I have other plans for you, though not the road that you
might choose I have other plans for you, I'll give you strength my will
to do If you will trust me as I lead you, I will surely take you
through I'll never leave you or forsake you, I have other plans for
you
With no warning loved ones leave us, they are often called away To
their mansion up in heaven, in that land as bright as day And with
tear-dimmed eyes we listen to His words so clear and true "Come home,
my child, I love you, I have other plans for you"
Repeat Chorus
I'll never leave you or forsake you, I have other plans for you
Scriptural Reference:
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future." Jeremiah 29:11

"This song was written by Mr. Arnold Kornegay of Hearne, Texas as
he stuggled with his feelings after the Kornegay's daughter, Debbie Lopez,
on August 14, 1996, at the age of 39, lost her life in a head-on
collision. Arnold said 'All my life I had heard preachers say, 'If
you have a burden, take it to the Lord and leave it there...' and I wasn't
doing that.' His dear friend, Linda Spikes wrote the harmony to this
beautiful song and it is our prayer that if your heart is burdened, you
may be inspired to leave it all to Him!"

If you're alone and oh so lonely And you don't know what to
do Jesus will bear your heavy load He'll give you relief from your

"... inspired by the thought that the King of Kings pays attention
when even the smallest of voices begins to offer Him praise."
Lyrics:
Jesus loves me this I know For the Bible tells me so Little ones
to Him belong They are week, but He is strong
Yes, Jesus loves me Yes, Jesus loves me Yes, Jesus loves
me The Bible tells me so
In the quiet of the hour A small voice dares to be heard And
though the voice is soft, the tones are hushed You know the King of
kings is stirred
Chorus: A voice of praise will be the song we raise A voice of
praise to our King A voice of praise lives on eternally So let the
heavens ring with a voice of praise
So hush, the angels listen in As voices start to blend in
love For as the chorus grows, the praises swell And spirits soar to
heaven above
Repeat Chorus
La (la), la la la la la La la la, la la la la la La la la la la,
la la la la la La la la, la la la la la La la la la la, la la la la

fly Angel wings, they beat the time As all creation starts to
sing
Repeat Chorus (x2)

praise, praise, praise)

was filled with a cloud." 2 Chronicles 5:13
